More than 100 H2 stakeholders and people interested in the topic of green hydrogen in the true North met on 20 January for the sixth edition of the digital event series by MEKUN and the Landeskoordinierungsstelle Wasserstoffwirtschaft SH "Coffee, Tea and Hydrogen", this time in cooperation with the IHK Schleswig-Holstein. The central question on the main stage, in the workshops and in networking was: What role can green hydrogen play in trade and industry? You can find the presentations of the speakers in our Review.

A highly topical subject, highly motivated guests, exciting speakers and workshop mentors as well as a relaxed atmosphere in a fitting location! At the Summer Party of the Hydrogen Economy - the 5th edition of our event series "Coffee, Tea and Hydrogen" - the focus was entirely on the continuation of Schleswig-Holstein's hydrogen strategy. The focus of the fourth edition of our digital event series was the topic "Which funding opportunities in the field of green hydrogen are available to stakeholders in Schleswig-Holstein? Speakers were Annika Fischer (LKS Wasserstoffwirtschaft SH) with an overview of the funding landscape, Dr. Jochen Seier (PTJ ) on the topic of key points of the funding project "Reallabore der Energiewende", Maximilian Lohrer (NOW GmbH) on the topic of procurement or retrofitting of commercial vehicles and buses with fuel cell drive systems and associated equipment. Dr. Bernd Wenzel (KEI) on the federal funding programme "Decarbonisation of Industry" and Karsten Gödderz (Hanse-Office Brussels) on the funding opportunities for hydrogen projects at European level. What has happened in Schleswig-Holstein in one year of the hydrogen strategy? What further measures are important to further establish and advance the hydrogen economy? What are the requirements for the use of hydrogen in the various sectors? These and other questions around the topic "1 Year Hydrogen Strategy Schleswig-Holstein - Review and Outlook" were discussed by over 130 guests at the third edition of "Coffee, Tea and Hydrogen". Speakers were Tobias Goldschmidt (State Secretary at MELUND), Dr Stefan Rehm (Hypion), Karsten Müller-Janßen (Stadtwerke Flensburg), Dr Sandra Niebler (Raffinerie Heide) and Hauke Siemens (HanseWerk).

At the digital launch event "Hydrogen Economy Schleswig-Holstein" on 18 March 2021, speakers from business and politics explained how Schleswig-Holstein, with its outstanding potential,can play a pioneering role in the production, distribution and use of green hydrogen in Germany and Europe. The event was hosted by the Ministry for Energy Transition, Agriculture, Environment and Digitalisation (MELUND) together with the newly created State Coordination Office for the Hydrogen Economy, based at the WTSH.
